Roles and Responsibilities

As a Staff AI Scientist, you will be integral to the AI team within the Science & Technology Organization, working on commercially-facing Healthcare products involving large, complex signal and imaging data sets. Collaborate with AI Scientists, ML Engineers, Statisticians, Computer Scientists, Software Developers, Hardware Engineers, Product Managers, and Clinicians.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project teams to solve clinical problems, design, and implement algorithms for Ultrasound, MR, CT, X-ray, patient monitoring, and life sciences applications.
  • Conducting cutting-edge research in AI and machine learning, generating IP, and publishing in top journals and conferences.
  • Developing technologies that accelerate workflows, optimize patient-specific imaging, and create device-agnostic imaging algorithms.
  • Engaging in fast prototyping, feasibility studies, specifications, and implementation of medical imaging product components.
  • Collaborating with customers to understand algorithm and workflow requirements to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering with a focus on medical imaging.
  • Proven track record in design, analysis, and implementation of algorithms, with advanced understanding of machine learning, computer vision, or deep learning.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical imaging and machine learning.
  • Strong publication record in top journals and conferences such as ISBI, ICLR, NIPS, OHBM, among others.
  • Expertise in Python, C++, and deep learning libraries.
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills, empathy, and leadership in project management.
  • Proven experience in AI, deep learning, machine learning, and applied mathematics fields.
