What You'll Bring
- 4-8 years of experience in conversion optimization, digital user experience analytics, web analytics, or A/B or multivariate testing program management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Product Analytics Tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, and Mixpanel.
- Highly skilled in SQL, Tableau, and other data visualization tools (e.g., Qlikview, Chartio), with deep familiarity in Excel.
- Experience in programming languages and stats packages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus; knowledge in experiment design, causal inference, and CLTV development is desirable.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce fundamentals and drivers of Traffic, Conversion, and Revenue, with the ability to uncover conversion insights and improvement opportunities through data analysis.
- Strategic problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset and proven digital analytics experience.
- Experience in website tagging and tracking, technical specifications, and SDR.
- Comfortable developing and translating complex data into concise insights, actions, and recommendations for a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
- Exceptional people and communication skills, the ability to work effectively with team members and in cross-functional situations, and a proven ability to influence within a matrixed organization.
- Results-oriented, highly motivated, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines.
- Foster a strong Test and Learn culture within the broader Marketing team in retail.
How You Will Lead
- Driving Business Strategy: Provide recommendations using data, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions to drive critical decision-making.
- Identifying Opportunities and Influencing Partners: Collaborate with eCommerce and Digital Marketing leaders to provide key insights and influence strategic decisions. Ensure scalability and effectiveness of reporting solutions.
- Be the Dot Connector: Utilize multiple data sources to identify broader trends and craft analyses that drive long-term solutions.
- Be the Analytics Translator: Define, standardize, and implement metrics, reports, and dashboards with a focus on actionable insights. Work with Advanced Data Science teams to ensure robust methodologies and translate them into meaningful business insights.
- Test and Learn Culture: Initiate a continual stream of testing and experimentation, leveraging learnings for future planning and application.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Advanced Analytics, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
