About the Project

The project "Strengthening Innovation and Effectiveness in the Performance of the Court of Justice of the State of Bahia" aims to promote innovation, efficiency and digital transformation in the state Judiciary. Started in 2023, the project is the result of a collaboration between the Court of Justice of Bahia (TJBA) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The initiatives seek to develop studies, methods and tools that enhance administrative and procedural control and transparency, as well as to reinforce the technical, conceptual and operational capacities for the improvement of TJBA. This project aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals and the UN 2030 Agenda, making state judicial services more efficient, comprehensive, and accessible to the population.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Artificial Intelligence Associate will provide specialized technical support, focusing on data consolidation and the creation of AI tools for TJBA, according to Project BRA/23/014. This position requires close collaboration with focal points at TJBA and UNDP, providing technical support for project implementation and monitoring of planned deliveries.

Activities:

  • Assist in the technical survey and development of project products.
  • Support the development of structured and unstructured data pipelines and machine learning models.
  • Assist in the implementation of project initiatives and the development of technical solutions.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and qualitative monitoring of implementations.

Institutional Arrangement

The contracted individual will be supervised by the UNDP Senior Project Manager and the Project Coordination Analyst.
