Scope of Responsibilities:

Join the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) as a Data and Member Engagement Coordinator. This pivotal role involves daily monitoring, reviewing, and updating of AGC's Membership Data. You will serve as a crucial liaison with members, chapters, and staff on all membership data-related issues. Collaboration with IT staff will be key to resolving membership data concerns and generating reports. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the chapter support and customer service team, managing phone inquiries, live chats, and customer service tickets, while also supporting Membership and Volunteer Engagement initiatives.

Primary Duties:

  • Collaborate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of departmental and member database policies and procedures.
  • Partner with AGC’s AMS core team to test system setups and data integrity, ensuring a smooth transition from the existing iMIS database to the new Fonteva system.
  • Monitor, review, and make necessary changes to automatically processed member add and drop requests.
  • Manually process all member add, drop, and record change requests from AGC Chapters, staff, and members.
  • Review and test chapter-integrated data dashboards to ensure accurate data flow from chapter databases to AGC’s database.
  • Process new record profiles created through the AGC website, assigning appropriate member/non-member record types.
  • Handle annual chapter officer updates submitted by AGC Chapters, encouraging timely completion.
  • Update member records with CSI and/or NAICS codes when provided by AGC Chapters.
  • Run routine data clean-up reports to maintain the integrity of the membership database, using online and chapter resources for data research.
  • Compile necessary membership information for National Staff and various awards (Cashman Trophy, Chapter of the Year, Net Gain awards, Build America, and Safety Awards).
  • Act as the primary contact for website verifications, troubleshooting user issues via [email protected] and membership prompt calls from the main switchboard.
  • Complete various data entry and clean-up projects as requested.
  • Fulfill Chapter Staff Service and S.I.R. Award requests promptly, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assist with AGC’s Volunteer Committee roster updates, the annual Call for Volunteers, and the Volunteer Ambassador program's administration.
  • Promote a customer service-oriented, quality-focused, and innovative working environment.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience, preferably within an association/non-profit environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM/AMS software (iMIS, Salesforce, or Fonteva) is required.
  • Knowledge of or interest in developing skills in PowerBI is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
