The territory of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta includes the Sixth Federal Reserve District, encompassing Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, and portions of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The Atlanta Fed, along with the other Reserve Banks, plays a crucial role in the Fed's three primary functions: monetary policy-making, bank supervision and regulation, and operation of a nationwide payment system.

The internships are paid. Housing for the summer will not be provided. SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT:
Assist with data summarization, data visualization, modeling, natural language processing, or robotic process automation.
Possibility of interacting with end-users to gather feedback on existing solutions or new projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Interns must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor's or Graduate degree program throughout the duration of the internship.
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of above 3.0 in an academically rigorous curriculum.
Must be committed to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.

Computer Science
Information Systems
Data Science
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and take charge of projects
Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail
Comfortable working across time zones to complete projects promptly
