About the Role

The Video Computer Vision organization at Apple is spearheading transformative technologies for forthcoming Apple products. Currently focused on ML-based solutions for real-time imagery and video, our past achievements include contributions to FaceID, FaceKit, and the innovative Apple Vision Pro. We are on the lookout for a skilled Engineer to elevate our projects to new heights. This role involves collaboration with pioneering teams in a multi-functional environment to integrate your expertise directly into Apple's groundbreaking products.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be entrusted with the crafting of 3D computer vision algorithms to enhance AR/VR experiences, making them impactful and user-centric. Collaborating with top-tier Apple designers ensures that our technological advancements resonate deeply with users. Your role will cover a breadth of tasks including the development of core technology algorithms, liaising with external teams, supporting cross-platform initiatives, participating in code reviews, and advocating for excellence within the team.

Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in multi-view geometry and infield calibration.
• Experience with SLAM/VIO (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).
• Background in traditional ML or deep learning applicable to the aforementioned fields is advantageous.
• Solid programming skills in C/C++.
• A passion for cutting-edge computer vision/machine learning technologies and their application in product development.
• Strong ability to communicate analytical results clearly and effectively.

Education & Experience

Applicants should possess a BS degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

Pay & Benefits

Apple offers a competitive compensation package including a salary range from $138,900.00 to $256,500.00, dependent on your skillset, qualifications, and experience.
