We are currently seeking dynamic and proactive individuals to join our Standardization & Industry Environment Team. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in high-impact projects and collaborate with leading experts in the field.

Position Details

Nokia is offering an exceptional career opportunity for specialists with expertise in AI/ML & Data Science or Device Radio technologies. Successful candidates will partake in:

• Advancing 5G-Advanced and 6G radio technology development through AI/ML and Data Science applications.
• Contributing to the innovation of future radio technologies such as 6G and 5G-Advanced, while gaining expertise in 3GPP radio standardization and relevant research.
• Working alongside world-class teams to influence the global standardization of evolutionary 5G-Advanced and 6G technologies.
• Designing and developing specifications for AI/ML elements in radio standardization, including aspects of the physical layer and radio protocols.
• Creating and securing intellectual property rights to enhance Nokia's IPR portfolio.
• Participating actively in 3GPP standardization meetings and impacting global radio standardization specifications.

Who We Are Looking For

Candidates should possess:

• An M.Sc. degree or Ph.D. with robust knowledge in either Machine Learning and AI/Data Science applied to telecommunications, or specialized knowledge in 5G radio technologies (physical layer, protocol layer, or device RF).
• The drive to develop as an expert in AI/ML applications for 5G-Advanced technology layers.
• Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with excellent technical writing skills.
• The ability to thrive in a multinational team environment and exhibit strong self-motivation.

Preferred experience includes:

• Hands-on experience developing AI and ML solutions or in developing device radio technologies.
• Familiarity with 3GPP standards and specification processes.
• A demonstrated record of innovation in previous roles.
