Role and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
- Degree: Bachelor Degree
- Experience: 5+ years in DataOps Engineering or DBA
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Administering, configuring, patching, and upgrading relational SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, ArangoDB, Cosmos, MySQL).
- Migrating databases from legacy systems to cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, and AWS.
- Performing regular platform tasks (user management, auditing, resource utilization, alerts monitoring).
- Understanding data platform best practices for cost reduction and efficiency.
- Expertise in database performance tuning, backup and recovery methods, and DB automation using PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- Maintaining data warehouses for quality data output delivery.
- Experience with monitoring solutions like DataDog.
Additional Skills
- Experience in Operations/SRE teams.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and security protocols.
- Proficiency in Python for data extraction, cleansing, and wrangling.
- Experience in SQL, relational databases, data modeling, mapping, and governance.
- Familiarity with data integration and warehousing tools (e.g., Talend, SnapLogic, Informatica).
- Competency with cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and data pipeline tools.
- Comfort with Linux and Bash scripting.
- Skilled in presenting technical and non-technical information to various audiences.
- Analyzing large data sets to derive insights using BI and data analytics tools.
- Handling data securely in transit and at rest.
- Improving internal processes through automation and optimization.
- Evaluating and managing data pipeline production.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Developing technical documentation and playbooks.
