Your mission? Challenge the status quo to ensure seamless creation and operation of essential data pipelines for our enterprise data and analytics initiatives, all while adhering to industry standards and tools for improved outcomes for our global patients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Organize and analyze large, complex data assets
• Ensure data quality in coordination with Data Analysts and Data Scientists via peer validation
• Develop and implement relevant data models for various business cases
• Partner with Product Owners and Data Analysts to prioritize pipeline implementation plans
• Design pipelines aligned with business needs in collaboration with Data Analysts and Data Scientists
• Enforce best practices in data manipulation end-to-end
• Actively contribute to the Data Governance community

About You

Experience

• Proven expertise in automation tools and methodologies
• Experience with data models and query tuning
• Familiar with compliance, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements (e.g.: data privacy, GxP, SOX)
• Healthcare industry experience is a significant advantage

Soft Skills

• Proven ability to work with multiple teams to achieve alignment and results
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Technical Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud services (Azure and GCP are a plus)
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational database technologies
• Proficiency in Data warehousing solutions (Snowflake is a bonus)
• Familiarity with Integration Services (IICS, Tibco is a plus)
• Working knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R is a plus)
• Experience with Source Code Management Tools (GitHub is a plus)
• Familiarity with Visualization Tools (PowerBI, Tableau is a plus)
• Acquainted with Project Management Tools (JIRA, Confluence is a plus)
• Knowledgeable about Service Management Tools (ServiceNow is a plus)
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, IICS) are a plus
• Experience with backup systems like Netbackup & CommVault
• Proficient in ServiceNow and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, BPPM
• Experience with Real World Data (e.g., EHR, Claims) and standard data models (e.g., OMOP, FHIR)
• Proficiency using frameworks to create pipelines (e.g., Apache Airflow, Kedro)

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
