Data Engineer/Developer (80-100%)

• Your task at Climeworks is to enhance and sustain our Azure Data Infrastructure, making sure that our IoT and Business Data are ingested and administered effectively and expansively.
• You are responsible for Data Modelling, establishing, refining, and upkeeping various Databases and their data pipelines (IoT, Business).
• You cooperate with different business units throughout Climeworks to supply data solutions and facilitate different data/analytics use cases.

Requirements

• You hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or related subjects.
• You possess a robust knowledge and experience of Azure Data Services / Azure Technology Stack and Databricks, ideally demonstrated with certifications (e.g. Azure Developer, Azure IoT Developer, Azure Data Engineer, Azure Database Administrator, Databricks Certifications).
• You are well-versed with Infrastructure as Code.
• You have expertise in / ELT pipelines (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Spark jobs).
• You have extensive experience with Python (ideally including , e.g. using Databricks), proficiency in any other programming language is desirable.
• You have experience with DevOps/Git, CICD.
• You have experience with Delta Lake.
• You have experience with IoT Edge technologies (Azure / open-source solutions).
• Ideally, you have experience with containerized applications and with Data Science and Machine Learning.
• You are self-motivated, proactive, steadfast, and you enjoy engaging in hands-on work.
• You are a team player and you flourish in a setting that is rapidly growing and not yet completely structured and settled.
• You are proficient in English; any knowledge of German is an advantage.
