The Role:

As a Senior Data Engineer, your role will be pivotal in liaising between Development, Business, and Operations Teams. You'll translate risk regulation requirements, participate in design sessions, and provide high-level solutions aimed at RWA optimization. This role requires handling multiple phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), navigating tight deadlines, and implementing solutions with minimal end-user impact.

Key Accountabilities:

• Harnessing technical skills in SQL, Axiom Controller View, Python, R, Java, Power BI, and Visio.
• Drive data analytics and reporting solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain process documentation.
• Support the modernization of the Bank’s Capital Reporting capabilities and collaborate with business lines to optimize RWA.
• Stay ahead of emerging tech trends to ensure optimal client solutions and experience.
• Guide the development of reusable components and scalable solutions with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Lead projects end-to-end, ensuring responsible ownership and delivery of project components.

What You Will Bring to Succeed:

• Over 8 years of IT and Risk Management experience in the technology and financial sectors.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Adenza/Axiom Controller View Tools.
• Deep understanding of database environments and credit risk management.
• Strong analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.
