Job Summary

Our Service Supply Chain Organization is seeking a Senior Advanced Data Analytics Analyst to play a pivotal role in our Operational Excellence program. This position focuses on making data-driven decisions by analyzing and interpreting complex datasets. Using a variety of tools and techniques, you will extract insights and present them in a clear and actionable format to decision-makers. The goal is to drive excellence across a range of highly complex supply chain processes for our large, global business units.

Your responsibilities include overseeing and optimizing various aspects of the company's operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will work closely with department heads, executives, and cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve productivity, and achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Gather data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring the upkeep of databases and data systems.
  • Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets.
  • Cleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors.
  • Coordinate with management to align business and informational priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with the management team to determine and rank the needs of different business units.
  • Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments.
  • Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations.
  • Partner with engineering and supply chain teams to understand business requirements.
  • Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.
  • Strategically drives a broad range of complex supply chain processes, which may include import/export operations, typically for large and complex global business units.
  • Independently execute complex demand and supply matching activities at the highest level, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
  • Define, measure, and leverage KPIs to drive continuous improvement in business operations, and convert recommendations into compelling new business plans.
  • Contribute to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
  • Work with managers to ensure alignment with global goals and objectives, and develop and coordinate efforts for reporting and tracking.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior-level staff employees to ensure professional development.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • Business Analyst Certification
  • Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations) will be considered as a plus
