About the Role

As a Data Science Advisor on our Data Science Team in India, you'll collaborate with leading academics, industry experts, and highly skilled engineers. Your mission will be to generate sophisticated insights from large datasets, shaping the future of data science methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Partner with internal and external teams to understand customer requirements and develop proposals.
• Conduct interactions with external customers to gather project requirements, provide status updates, and share analytical insights.
• Implement preliminary data exploration and preparation steps for model development/validation.
• Apply a broad range of techniques from statistics, machine learning, and business intelligence to deliver actionable business insights.

What You'll Achieve

You'll play a critical role in shaping business strategy and influencing decision-making by interpreting insights from complex data sets. You'll design processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data, generate actionable insights, and construct predictive models, algorithms, and probability engines.

Essential Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience with advanced statistical skills and mathematical knowledge.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R to implement statistical and machine learning models in big data and cloud environments, such as Azure or AWS.
• Good understanding of the business environment and industry trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, understand business challenges, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach.

Desirable Requirements

• Strong product/technology/industry knowledge and familiarity with streaming/messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with web technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTTP/REST/GraphQL, Flask, Django) and skilled in programming languages such as Java or JavaScript.
• Knowledge and work experience with Graph databases, web analytics, and online customer journey data.
