About the Role: AI Data Engineer Intern

3E is looking for a motivated and curious intern to join our Brussels team for a 6-month traineeship. As an AI Data Engineer Intern, you will play a vital role in developing a new AI tool for SynaptiQ's Customer Support team. Currently, our Support Team utilizes an external tool called Kayako to assist clients in using SynaptiQ.

In this role, you will:

• Explore Kayako AI tools to help users find relevant information.
• Investigate the possibilities of extracting information and discussions from Kayako to feed our generative AI ChatBot, guiding other users facing similar issues.
• Propose creative solutions for implementing this tool.

Your research results will be directly applied by our team and integrated into our solution. During this internship, you will be part of 3E's Operations Team and work closely with the product manager responsible for this functionality, gaining exposure to SaaS and AI environments.

Requirements

3E seeks a dynamic and autonomous intern eager to learn. Some must-haves for this role include:

• Enrollment in a University degree in Data Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Python and AI-related libraries
• Effective communication skills in English

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge of French and/or Dutch
• Experience using the openAI API
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts (RAG, Chain of Thought, etc.)
