About the Role

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with design and product management teams to enhance existing features and develop new functionalities. You will take ownership of your code from ideation to deployment, engage in improving product architecture, and mentor fellow engineers. Your participation in agile processes will support timely and budget-aligned deliveries, maintaining excellence through clean code principles, performance analysis, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of features in collaboration with design and product teams.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of your code, including quality assurance and support.
• Enhance product architecture and share best practices with the engineering team.
• Engage in agile methodologies to ensure scope and delivery are well defined.
• Uphold high code quality by applying clean code principles and conducting technical reviews.

Who You Are

As an ideal candidate, you possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of software engineering experience, focusing on AI and data pipelines development.
• Expertise in Java, Scala, GoLang, or Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency in big data technologies and understanding of modern cloud application development and deployment systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this role is $237,500 - $403,800 USD annually, depending on candidate experience and other factors. SAP provides a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as industry-leading allowances and support systems..

Note:

Must be comfortable coming into the closest SAP office 3 days a week.
