We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an AI Engineer to enhance our customer experience. By leveraging advanced NLP, large language models, and seamless integration with third-party GenAI services, you will play a crucial role in every phase of the AI lifecycle. From ideating and creating prompts to the fine-tuning of models and their deployment in production environments, your work will be essential in enabling our digital transformation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to identify and implement GenAI use-cases that offer measurable benefits.
• Support the data science and AI team in the rollout of scalable AI applications enterprise-wide.
• Work with multifunctional teams including DevOps, data engineers, developers, and testers, to bring AI services to production on AWS.
• Advance our technology stack with improvements in MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, UI enhancements, and AI Python libraries.
• Develop and refine AI models and track their performance.
• Evaluate third-party GenAI and LLM technologies to perform cost-benefit analyses.
• Lead projects from initial scoping and R&D through to deployment and performance assessment.
• Engineer data to optimize performance for AI applications, and keep abreast of advancements in the field.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with experience in taking research projects from conception to production, delivering both tangible commercial benefits and enhanced customer experiences. You should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced, multifunctional environment. A PhD or MSc in a quantitative field such as Machine Learning, Computer Science, or Statistics is highly valued, along with demonstrable experience in deploying advanced NLP models and prompt engineering.

Strong proficiency in Python, knowledge of software design principles, and familiarity with ML operations and technologies like Docker, MLflow, and Kubernetes are essential. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and workflow tools like Databricks or FastAPI would be advantageous.
