About the Role

As an AI Engineer at Tether, you'll be pivotal in constructing a spectrum of AI solutions. These range from large-scale models designed for complex applications to compact, high-efficiency models optimized for edge devices, such as mobile phones and laptops.

You will be joining a fully remote, diverse, and fast-growing team that has carved out a niche as industry leaders. Help us develop AI models and solutions that not only rival but surpass current market leaders, fostering technological advancement and broad accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead research and development of multimodal AI models that set new industry benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of our AI models into market-ready solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, preferably a PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a proven track record in AI R&D.
  • Experience in developing Large Language Models (LLMs) or other large-scale models from the ground up, including coding, data collection, and optimization for training and inference.
  • Strong expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and multimodal learning, and proficiency in TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, and CUDA toolkit.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar languages.
