About the Role

The Video AI team is central to LinkedIn’s growth strategy. This dynamic group of machine learning experts is dedicated to pioneering AI technologies that transform video content interaction. Our cutting-edge work includes video understanding, search, and personalization, aiming to enhance user engagement with video content on LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy relevance models for personalized recommender systems and intent engines.
• Design with scalability and performance in mind.
• Explore novel machine learning approaches for ranking and modeling downstream impacts.
• Analyze big data to understand user preferences and improve product features.
• Collaborate with data science, product, and infrastructure teams to bring ideas from conception to production.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• 1+ years of experience in machine learning, data mining, or natural language processing.
• 1+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithmic solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant work experience.
• MS or PhD in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience developing large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of recommendation systems.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems, debug code, and automate routine tasks.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a sense of ownership.

Compensation

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation. The salary range for this role is $111,000-$183,000, based on factors such as skill set, experience, and location.
