About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned AI Engineer to leverage Artificial Intelligence to enhance the capabilities of millions who code using Replit. As part of our dynamic team, you'll be tasked with building innovative AI features, developing new capabilities, and enhancing our powerful computing platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for automated code generation.
• Create advanced prompting strategies to optimize third-party LLMs via API integration.
• Compile and manage extensive datasets from both public sources and proprietary Replit data.
• Construct AI models from scratch, balancing the latest advancements with practical application.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to weave AI solutions into Replit's systems and workflows.
• Identify and champion new AI-driven opportunities, setting strategic directions and roadmaps.

Who You Are:

• An expert Python developer with at least 5 years of experience in AI-related fields.
• A proponent of simple, effective solutions, capable of incremental shipping with a radical vision.
• Experienced in crafting scalable, extensible data infrastructure.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
• Enthusiastic about democratizing programming through AI.
• Additionally, experience with distributed computing, Large Language Models, and LangChain or similar frameworks will be advantageous.

Salary & Compensation

The base salary range for this position is typically between $160,000 and $250,000, dependent on location and experience.
