We're excited to invite applications for the role of Senior AI/ML System Software Engineer based in a flexible hybrid setup at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior AI/ML System Software Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the charge in productizing the software stack for our innovative AI compute engine.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain our next-generation AI Deployment software, working across the full stack tool chain.
  • Collaborate with a team of compiler and software experts to build a robust compiler infrastructure and optimize hardware-software co-design.
  • Scale software solutions effectively within tight development timelines.

What You Bring to the Table

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field, with at least 2 years of industry software development experience.
  • A solid understanding of computer architecture, data structures, system software, and machine learning fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Python in a Linux environment, with experience in distributed, high-performance software design and implementation.
  • A proactive approach and leadership skills, driven by a strong sense of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in a startup or fast-paced R&D environment, preferably with exposure to cloud or AI compute/sub-system companies.
  • Expertise in SIMD algorithms on vector processors, open-source ML compiler frameworks like MLIR, and deep learning ecosystems.
  • Capability in deploying ML workloads in distributed systems and implementing comprehensive MLOps solutions.
