Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or AI Architect to lead and expand the AI aspect of our Data+AI services business. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and support high-performance business solutions using natural language processing, predictive analytics, machine learning, and other expert system or augmented intelligence techniques.
Your Role
- Provide direction and implementation services to our clients, and occasionally on internal AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, data engineers, and full-stack developers.
- Evaluate and improve models, prepare datasets, and communicate findings effectively.
- Work on deploying new models to production in collaboration with software and data engineers.
- Participate in conferences, author industry or academic publications, and demonstrate thought leadership within the data science community.
- Manage and mentor data scientists, ML engineers, and AI developers.
- Support proposal development for DS/ML/NLP/AI-related projects.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Python (with libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit Learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, Gensim, Spacy) is required, along with experience in SQL, relational and non-relational databases, and code versioning tools (e.g., GitHub).
Preferred Qualifications
Strong academic background in math, computer science, or engineering (preferably post-graduate). Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and the ability to handle practical business issues.
Responsibilities
- Act as a senior technical advisor in client projects for up to 40 hours per week when possible.
- Engage in pre-sales activities such as proposal writing and delivering pitches.
- Lead the strategy phase of client projects, providing technical and program leadership.
- Manage client relationships and ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor and provide career direction to team members.
- Participate in peer reviews of AI solution design and data architecture.
- Contribute to Levio’s data and AI business development plans by presenting at conferences and publishing blogs.
