Role Overview

As an AI Prompt & Language Specialist, you will work with, test, and train AI models. Your primary responsibility will include building linguistic content that enables our client's solutions to detect and classify various online harms with cultural context.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and Future Development

• Build and maintain linguistic tools, ensuring accurate and contextual classification.
• Classify words/phrases based on a defined taxonomy of online harms.
• Review chat data to ensure proper classification, addressing misclassifications as needed.
• Analyze data for trends and propose classification improvement plans.
• Update vocabulary based on client requests, global issues, and current trends.
• Collaborate with the Client Success team to resolve client queries.
• Participate in developing innovative methods for content detection.
• Support product testing and report any product outages.

AI Data Generation

• Curate and build datasets for evaluating and testing AI models.
• Label or analyze data for data scientists to train AI.
• Conduct red-teaming to identify potential harms in new AI features and report findings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine AI policy input.
• Contribute native language prompts to the red-teaming library.

Quality Audits

• Audit data labeling and report results.
• Identify areas of weakness and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Dutch.
• Deep understanding of cultural specificities governing the language usage.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Document cultural information into a knowledge repository.
• Present observations and information in reports, presentations, or documents.

Technical Skills

• Native Dutch speaker.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

Behavioral Skills

• Communicative, outgoing, and team-oriented.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working in roles that expose you to unpleasant content at times.

Bonus Experience

• Experience in content moderation.
• Experienced gamer.
• Studies in cultural fields like sociology, ethics, education, or anthropology.
• Experience related to inclusivity, child protection, or legal protection.
