We are excited to announce the opportunity for a seasoned AI Specialist in Computational Photography to join our dedicated Core AI Computational Photography team.

What You Will Do

As an AI Specialist, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of imaging on AR and VR platforms:

• Develop innovative ML-based computational photography algorithms, specifically for denoising applications on AR and VR devices.
• Perform optimization of ML models specific to the architecture of on-device compute platforms.
• Manage projects from research through to production, taking full ownership of algorithm development.

Who We're Looking For

We require professionals with a deep-seated knowledge and proven industry experience in computational photography and machine learning:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and deploying real-time ML algorithms for computational photography on mobile or AR/VR devices.
• Demonstrable experience with ML image processing algorithms interacting with on-device image signal processors like Qualcomm or MediaTek ISP.
• A solid understanding of CMOS sensor design and architecture.
• Expertise in optimizing neural network architecture for mobile AI accelerators (Qualcomm HTP, DSP, GPU).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in successfully deploying ML computational photography features commercially, specifically ML-based denoising features.
• Published work in top-tier conferences in computer vision or computational photography, such as CVPR, ECCV, or NeurIPS.
• Proficiency in production programming languages like C/C++, Halide, and OpenGL/OpenCL.
