Job Overview:

Join the dynamic Industrial Vision AI SW team at Advantech, where we are dedicated to integrating the latest deep learning vision algorithms with hardware platforms to deliver high-performance, reliable industrial vision AI software solutions. As a Vision AI Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for algorithm development and software integration, including but not limited to:

• Research and implementation of new models/algorithms
• Requirement analysis
• Model/algorithm modification and optimization
• Software maintenance and debugging
• Model packaging and software integration
• Documentation
• Technology transfer
• Introduction of new development tools, processes, or AI-assisted tools

Reporting Line:

This position reports to the R&D Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Industrial vision AI modelling and algorithm research and development
• Utilize Nvidia SDK and microservices to accelerate AI implementation
• Develop and continuously optimize AI solutions on ICVG’s smart camera (ICAM) series
• Software maintenance, including optimizing, refactoring, and bug handling
• Adopt and exploit new AI technologies in development

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Linux environments
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or Caffe
• Expertise in deep vision model development (e.g., ResNet, Faster R-CNN, Mask R-CNN, YOLO, GAN, transformers, etc.) with a demonstrated in-depth understanding
• Experience with CI/CD, creating AI model training, and inference pipelines
• Experience developing LVM or VLM (e.g., CLIP, DINO, SAM, OWL-ViT) is a significant plus
• Experience in industrial vision AI is a plus
• Experience with Nvidia SDK or microservices is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, attention to quality and detail, and a team player attitude
• Proficiency in English reading and writing, with a willingness to communicate in English
