Position Overview: We are on the hunt for a skilled software engineer with experience in building Machine Learning & Experimentation platforms. Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building large-scale data processing and distributed systems utilizing technologies like Spark and Kafka.
• Hands-on expertise in managing, monitoring, and scaling data collection and analytics pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL / NoSQL databases and Object-Oriented Programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Trino, and log processing/mining frameworks like Splunk and Prometheus.
• Familiarity with CI pipeline deployment and management using Jenkins or similar tools is required.
• Prior experience with Machine Learning platforms will be considered a strong advantage.

Role Description:

As an AI/ML Data Engineer, you'll design and build robust data applications that support both on-device and device/server-side combined ML workflows. Your responsibilities will include analyzing telemetry from billions of devices to deliver insights that influence product launches and collaborating with diverse teams across Apple to strategize the platform's future for the next 2-3 years.

Educational & Experience Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field is required. The role demands a fusion of intense technical skills and creativity.

Compensation & Benefits:

Apple offers a competitive salary range from $131,500 to $243,300, subject to your experience and skills.
