The Information Intelligence teams are at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technology for algorithmic search, machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. Job Description

You will be part of a team that designs and builds infrastructures to support features used by billions of Apple users. Our responsibilities include processing trillions of links to surface the best content for users through search. We analyze web pages to extract vital features for indexing and ranking, applying statistical analysis to enhance link selection, freshness, retrieval rates, and extraction quality. You’ll work with large-scale systems containing trillions of rows and petabytes of data, dealing with incredible complexity.

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI (GenAI), and Large Language Models (LLM)
• Proven track record of driving projects from conception to market
• Strong experience in designing and architecting scalable user-facing products
• Exceptional coding skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with petabyte-scale data processing and developing data pipelines
• Familiarity with AWS Services such as Amazon S3, EC2, EKS/Kubernetes
• Expertise in designing and building scalable distributed services
• Proficiency with machine learning algorithms and tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience

MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is a component of our total compensation package, which provides the opportunity for progression as you grow within the role. The base pay range for this position is between $189,800 and $346,300, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
