Key Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in programming autonomous robots and systems.
• Proven expertise in perception, SLAM, decision-making, motion planning, and control systems.
• Solid track record with applied machine learning and AI algorithms for embodied and autonomous systems.
• Professional software development proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with foundational models for robotics preferred.
• Extensive hands-on R&D experience in AI and robotics algorithms and systems.
• Knowledge of robotics algorithm integration, testing, and executing experiments.
• Adept in real-time, multi-process, multi-threaded coding in a Linux environment.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Capable of handling ambiguity and pushing forward to complete tasks despite challenges or distractions.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a geographically distributed team.

Education & Experience:

M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with equivalent professional experience required.

Pay & Benefits:

Apple offers a competitive salary ranging from $138,900 to $256,500, based on candidate's credentials and location. Employees may also participate in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs, receive comprehensive medical and dental benefits, retirement benefits, discounted products and services, and reimbursements for certain educational expenses. Potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses, commission payments, and relocation support.
