Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Apple, you will work closely with a diverse team of research scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, and designers. Your mission will be to create new on-device experiences and technologies focused on significantly advancing customer health. This role encompasses various stages of feature development, from ideation to research, to design, and implementation. We seek a candidate who excels at each stage, delivering innovative experiences that surprise and delight our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

— 2+ years of experience developing and shipping production-grade software

— Prior experience with software engineering for Apple platforms, including iOS and watchOS

— Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

— 4+ years of experience developing and shipping end-to-end production-grade software solutions

— Excellent software design and programming skills in Swift/Objective-C and Python

— Ability to work independently and collaborate across a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and designers

— Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools

Education & Experience

— BS/MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent qualification

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is just one component of our total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300. Your base pay will be determined based on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple also offers the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
