AI/ML Software Engineer

Join Our Team as an AI/ML Software Engineer at Toyon Research Corporation!

Description: Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)? Toyon Research Corporation is currently looking for highly skilled software engineers proficient in Python or C++ to join our team. This role requires a U.S. Citizenship and the ability to qualify for a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance. Please note that this is an in-person position.

As part of our dynamic team, you will develop cutting-edge software in support of AI/ML applications, collaborating closely with both researchers and customers to engineer innovative solutions. Prior experience in Reinforcement Learning (RL), other AI/ML methodologies, or image or signal processing will be advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with collaborative environments, configuration management, and version control tools is desirable. A strong foundation in mathematics and physics is essential to succeed in developing advanced AI/ML software that addresses complex sensor data processing or control issues.

Requirements: We are looking for candidates with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field; a Master's degree is preferred.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $180,000, based on qualifications and experience. Toyon Research Corporation is committed to fair and transparent pay practices and considers a variety of factors when determining compensation.
