About the Role

As a vital member of our engineering squad, you'll spearhead the development and execution of AI and machine learning algorithms within embedded systems, focusing particularly on machine vision to aid spacecraft navigation, docking, and other orbital applications.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and refine ML and computer vision algorithms on embedded systems.
• Design and optimize AI/ML models for deployment on resource-limited embedded platforms.
• Guide the entire software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Perform algorithm evaluation to ensure impactful real-time performance.
• Stay updated on emerging industry trends to propose innovative enhancements for our products.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.

Who We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 3 years’ experience in ML and computer vision algorithm development on embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and embedded software development.
• Expertise in ML techniques, deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and computer vision.
• Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems development methodologies.
• Ability to solve complex problems and effectively communicate technical concepts.
