Your Impact

Within our unit, our mission is to research and develop cutting-edge AI/ML-based cellular wireless technology. We are on the lookout for expert and highly self-motive machine learning engineers like you. Your role will involve defining system-level concepts, proposing and researching innovative ideas and algorithms, conducting sophisticated system simulations, and working on rapid prototyping platforms to validate your ideas for current and next-gen (5G/6G) cellular systems with a strong AI/ML foundation.

Key Qualifications

• Experience solving interdisciplinary problems through machine learning.
• Publications in top machine learning conferences/journals such as JMLR, ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR.
• Expertise in Algorithms, Optimization, Probability, Statistics, and Information Theory.
• Experience in one or more research directions in Neural Networks: Deep Reinforcement Learning, Federated Learning, Transformer, Transfer Learning, Online Learning, Generative Neural Network, Graph Neural Network, CNN, RNN etc.
• Proven track record of innovation in AI/ML.
• Programming proficiency in Python, MATLAB.
• Clear analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with efficient AI/ML hardware implementation.
• Strong coding style and code management skills.

Role Description

You will be participating in cutting-edge research in machine intelligence and machine learning applications tailored for Apple products. Your responsibilities will include contributing to AI/ML framework design, taking a top-down approach to system design, setting up large-scale tests, and rapidly deploying promising ideas. You will engage in creating experiments, prototyping, and developing solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.

BS and 3+ years of relevant experience required.

At Apple, we offer competitive pay between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, influenced by your qualifications, skills, and experience.
