The Mission Software Engineering team at Anduril is looking for dedicated engineers to drive the development, deployment, and scaling of mission-critical software. As part of this team, your role will involve solving complex technical challenges for Fury, our high-performance, multi-mission autonomous air vehicle (AAV), and other innovative defense solutions like Counter Intrusion and Joint All Domain Command & Control systems. Required Qualifications

  • Strong engineering background in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
  • 3+ years experience with programming languages including Java, Python, C++, C#, Rust, Go, and JavaScript/Typescript
  • Expertise in building software solutions with significant data processing and analysis
  • Ability to navigate complex systems and established code bases efficiently
  • Passion for working on impactful, real-world software
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in Physics, Mathematics, and Motion Planning to support modeling & simulation
  • Experience with JMPS/JOMS/OMS environments
  • Developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world settings
  • Feature and algorithm development with behavior tree understanding
  • Experience with flight systems and safety-critical software/hardware
  • Knowledge of distributed communication networks and military systems

Compensation and Benefits

US Salary Range: $138,000—$252,000 USD

The salary range is an estimated range based on various factors, including work experience, education, skills, and business considerations. Anduril offers competitive equity grants as part of the total compensation package.
