This role is pivotal in enhancing our client's data capacities and maintaining our competitive edge through innovative Alpha services and product offerings.

The ideal candidate for this position would possess a strong background in data operations management combined with excellent collaboration, communication, and technical skills, particularly in process optimization and automation. The Alpha Data Operations Specialist will play an integral role within our broader data operations team, supporting our global clientele and collaborating closely with our colleagues in Boston, Hangzhou, and Bangalore.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various teams including Alpha Data Implementation, Service Management, and IT to share best practices, address issues, and develop consistent global processes.
  • Conduct data operations ensuring timely and high-quality data delivery to clients, along with accurate daily metrics production.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to liaise with both upstream and downstream stakeholders.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and support the testing phases prior to product launches.
  • Provide valuable insights for enhancements to the Alpha Data products based on a thorough understanding of the data interfaces and connectivity.

What We Value:

Prospective candidates should bring robust industry knowledge possibly including Middle Office Operations, Transaction Management, or Corporate Actions. A strong foundation in SQL and a solid grasp of database/data warehouse management are essential. You should exhibit acute attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a proactive “can do” attitude.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • A university degree in Data Management, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Services, SQL, or Data Analytics.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, other market data vendors, and financial instruments from a static data perspective would be advantageous.
  • Excellent numerical, analytic, and communication skills with proficiency in English.
