Your Transformation Challenge

As an Insight Data Engineer specializing in AWS QuickSight, you will be integral to our AUTONOMOUS PROCUREMENT product team. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our application that automates the assignment of needed transport to specific logistic partners.

• Develop and maintain an advanced middle layer and data pipeline optimized for analytics and business intelligence (BI) within our AWS RDS-hosted PostgreSQL database environment.
• Assume full ownership of our BI environment, implementing data governance and quality standards to maintain data integrity and security.
• Build and manage a database schema aligned with analytics and BI requirements.
• Facilitate efficient use of Amazon QuickSight for analytics and BI with a strong focus on automation.
• Collaborate with solution consultants and product management to design and implement Amazon QuickSight analyses and dashboards that provide actionable insights.

You Are Ready If You Have

• Significant experience in data engineering, particularly with Amazon QuickSight for analytics and BI solutions.
• Expertise in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases, especially within an AWS RDS context.
• Experience working with large data sets and focusing on automation through Python.
• Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in building data pipelines and schemas specifically for BI and analytics.
• Proven ability to cooperate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, security practices, and compliance standards.
