The Advanced Product Quality Engineering (APQE) team is seeking a talented and ambitious Product Quality Engineer Co-op willing to work with a range of futuristic advanced technologies and connect with complex, state-of-the-art manufacturing environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to tackle challenges and implement product enhancements. You will actively interact with hardware, production, and external vendors to deliver the best quality products at the lowest cost. Key job responsibilities
The Product Quality Engineer Intern will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with stakeholders in requirements development for new product development.
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and leading team continuous improvement initiatives.
- Quality defect evaluation and internal escalation/coordination.
- Assisting in failure analysis.
- Assisting in internal quality investigations and CAPAs.
- Supplier development and communication to reduce defects.
- Working with field quality and maintenance engineering to triage issues.
- Presenting findings to leadership and at QBRs.
- Assisting in data collection and visualization.

Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an MS or BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Enrolled in a College/University and have at least one semester/term/quarter of school left to complete after the end of the co-op
- Eligible and available for a full-time (40h/week) 6-month co-op between January and June 2024
- 2+ years of experience in hardware design and validation of components, subsystems, and systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with engineering practices and patterns for the complete software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and operational procedures
- Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems
