Amazon Robotics is looking for a talented and ambitious student to join our team as a Program Manager.
The candidate will have the chance to work with senior program management, science, and engineering staff to contribute to existing university outreach initiatives as well as new engagements, processes, and mechanisms. The ideal candidate will possess robust program/project management skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and a fervor for contributing to team and customer success.
Central job responsibilities include managing one large or multiple smaller projects in university outreach or STEM education. The scope and quantity of projects depend on the candidate's comfort level and the business project priority at the time of hiring. The role will require interfacing with technical and non-technical teams to deliver project requirements, collaborating with science, engineering, and campus recruiting to implement process changes, and developing project management skills. Responsibilities will also comprise developing project schedules with MS Project or another preferred scheduling tool, managing a risk register, designing and tracking metrics to evaluate program impacts, analyzing data to inform program priorities, biweekly project status reporting to the leadership team, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Basic Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and experience in project or program management.
Preferred Qualifications include familiarity with MS Project or equivalent Gantt chart tools, familiarity with university recruiting, STEM outreach, research administration, or content development analytics, and at least one internship or co-op experience in the project management field.
