Meta Payments is seeking a skilled AML Models Analytics Lead to enhance and innovate our Anti-Money Laundering models, ensuring compliance across our financial ecosystems. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, continuously improve AML processes, and ensure governance within Meta’s dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As an AML Models Analytics Lead, you will:

• Lead the design and implementation of AML rules and models from start to finish.
• Collaborate with various teams including Product, Engineering, Compliance, Data, and Operations to develop effective AML rules across our payment products.
• Analyze trends and statistics to improve and refine AML models.
• Propose and implement enhancements or new models to broaden coverage and enhance efficiency.
• Recommend model thresholds based on quantitative analysis and testing.
• Ensure that our model-related efforts are compliant with internal governance frameworks.
• Provide detailed updates on project progress and compliance issues to leadership and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Compliance, specifically within the financial, payments, e-commerce, or money transfer services sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience in Transaction Monitoring program development, implementation, and system validation.
• Proven expertise in statistics and data analysis tools such as SQL or Python.
• Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage cross-organizational projects and priorities effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:
