Position: Analyst - Business Intelligence & Reporting Analytics

The Empower India Business Intelligence and Reporting Analytics team is seeking a talented Analyst capable of generating comprehensive reports that recommend both strategic and operational changes. The ideal candidate will collect, monitor, and analyze business data to produce custom reports that help control costs, identify process inefficiencies, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Additionally, we need someone who can critically assess existing business processes and provide specific recommendations on data tracking and its application for continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identify different types of data that need tracking to improve business performance.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to pinpoint and correct code issues.
• Generate easy-to-interpret reports based on collected data.
• Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Use statistical methods to identify areas for operational enhancement and make process streamlining suggestions.
• Work with department managers to create data collection guidelines for internal use.

Educational Qualifications:

Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Business Management, Statistics, Economics, Technology, Finance, or a related field.

Required Experience:

1-3 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, or a related field. Attention to detail and enthusiastic about learning new technologies in analytics such as AWS, Python, DISCO, Tableau, and more.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages like Business Objects, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and Advanced Excel.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
• Overall understanding of the US Retirement Industry.
• Highly self-motivated with excellent accountability and ownership skills.
