Job Description

• Identify operational improvements and find solutions using CI tools and techniques
• Complete tasks and transactions within agreed KPIs
• Apply fundamental work theories, concepts, and processes in your area of work
• Engage with market partners to understand and translate business problems into analytical problems, taking ownership of analysis and providing data-driven decision support
• Manipulate, analyze, and synthesize large complex data sets, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Ensure high-quality and timely completion of specified work deliverables
• Support the automation of repeatable tasks, report generation, and dashboard refresh
• Develop analysis and reports that contribute beyond basic requirements
• Write well-detailed, structured, and compute-efficient code
• Contribute to the development of knowledge assets and reusable modules on GitHub/Wiki
• Generate practical insights to drive decisions in business operations
• Understand business needs and processes within Tesco
• Complete tasks and transactions within agreed important metrics

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Business Decisions
• Skills in developing visualizations, self-service dashboards, and reports using Tableau
• Basic Statistical Concepts (Correlation Analysis and Hypothesis Testing)
• Proficiency in analyzing data using advanced Excel, SQL, Hive
• Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts on Hadoop and Teradata
• Desirable skills in automation using Alteryx/Python
