About the Role:

Join Our Technology Operations Team as an Analyst Data Engineering in Perth

We are excited to offer a position for a dedicated Analyst Data Engineering at Roy Hill, based in our Perth location, working Monday to Friday. As part of the Data & Integration Platforms division, and reporting to the Superintendent, your role will involve developing and maintaining critical data pipelines to support our Data Platform team. Success in this role is achieved by understanding the operational needs and integrating technology to enhance business processes.

Duties:

• Design and develop data pipelines in collaboration with business analysts and end users.
• Engage with key stakeholders to define project requiremensts and goals.
• Contribute to the collection of business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis.
• Develop unit test scripts and collaborate on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain essential documentation and training materials for the data platform.
• Conduct peer reviews to ensure high quality outputs.

Skills and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer or advanced level Data Analyst.
• Skills in data modelling, especially Kimball methods, and proficiency in Power BI.
• A proven track record in iterative development methodologies.
