Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to develop data operations processes that ensure efficient data processing and storage.
• Operate and enhance data transfer, storage, and ingestion processes to meet the requirements of data owners.
• Adapt existing data operation processes to accommodate new demands.
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards for data operations to report critical metrics to stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues related to data operations.
• Analyze and implement data-related compliance guidelines that align with research data management requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Understanding of biomedical research scientific business processes and the IT products and services used in this field.
• Proficiency in data operations and data ingestion practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Expertise in data quality, integrity, security, and lineage management.
• Basic knowledge of standard data analysis methods and reporting tools.
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to supporting the development and growth of team members.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, data operations, or related roles.
• 3+ years of work experience in a drug discovery environment or related scientific field.
• Technical skills in database management systems (e.g., SQL), data integration tools, data quality frameworks, scripting, and data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Technical expertise with cloud technologies (AWS, Google, or Azure).
