About This Position: Applied AI Intern

Location: Hybrid role based in Arlington, VA

Step into the role of Applied AI Intern with our Americas New Customer Solutions team and directly impact our customer service by integrating new digital technologies. You’ll play a crucial role in improving operational metrics within the burgeoning stationary storage industry through innovative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop applications using extensive operating data from Fluence’s fleet.
• Collaborate on AI services design and maintenance.
• Enhance data quality and workflows leveraging AI and ML models with appropriate data.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and participate in code reviews.
• Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends to boost development practices.

What We Look For in a Candidate:

• Current student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields with a robust passion for energy storage advancement.
• Practical experience with Python in AI/ML implementations, familiar with AWS services, and proficient in NLP and version control systems like Git.
• A proactive learner keen on revolutionizing stationary energy storage with AI.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative spirit.
