About the Role We are seeking an experienced Android engineer to become part of our fresh ChatGPT Growth team to lead high-impact projects that augment the user base of ChatGPT and Plus Subscribers. Your role will involve tasks like bettering account access, notifications, SEO, fostering value discovery, and virality. As we are at the early stages of growth at OpenAI, we'll lean on you to unearth key areas where strategic ventures or incremental endeavors can trigger significant effect. We appreciate those engineers who are outcome-oriented, autonomous, adept at deducing vital insights from experimental outcomes, and have a robust sense for how to eliminate obstacles to unlocking the charm of ChatGPT. In this role, you will: - Propel long-term growth of ChatGPT via a blend of data scrutiny, product conceptualization, and trial and error to refine product encounters. - Develop and implement mobile platform infrastructure required to assemble, test, and launch these product experiences. - Follow through on tasks by closely collaborating with research, product, design, data science and other product team members to make an impact on product objectives. - Foster a varied and inclusive environment that makes everyone feel welcome while allowing for open critique and challenging conformity. You might excel in this role if you: - Have introduced features on Android that refine the user journey, such as landing pages, product pages, purchase flows, search flows, etc. - Are highly analytical and have expertise in designing and executing A/B tests, with a scientific approach to data-based experiments. You know precisely what and how to track business metrics and KPIs. - Possess a keen and instinctual desire to learn and fill in skill gaps. An equally robust ability to share that information distinctly and succinctly with others. - Are comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly altering situations.
