Role Overview: Applied AI/ML Senior Associate

As a Applied AI/ML Senior Associate, you will bring your quantitative, data science, and analytical abilities to tackle complex challenges. You will collaborate across teams to design, develop, evaluate, and implement data science and analytical solutions, with a deep functional understanding of the business problem at hand. Your responsibilities will include data wrangling, data analysis, and modeling, from model selection to delivering quick, applicable modeling solutions. Serving as a thought leader, you will advise on optimal solutions and provide insights on challenger models. This exciting role offers you the chance to contribute significantly to high-impact projects across the firm, developing data-centric solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Develop AI/ML solutions addressing impactful business needs
• Collaborate with team members to productionize end-to-end AI/ML solutions
• Participate in the research and development of innovative solutions
• Document AI/ML models for stakeholders
• Coach other AI/ML team members for personal and professional success
• Collaborate with various teams to achieve the team's and firm's mission and vision

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

• Advanced degree in fields like Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, or Operations Research
• Experience in applying AI/ML to relevant fields
• Practical experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning
• Strong expertise in natural language processing (NLP) and its applications
• Proficiency in Python programming, with experience using libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and others
• Experience working with Spark, Hive, and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in financial services
• PhD in any of the aforementioned disciplines
