What Will You Do?

As an Applied Research Scientist for AI at Meta, you'll have the chance to work on transformative projects like Project Aria. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop groundbreaking algorithms and models for 3D machine perception in real-world settings.
  • Design and conduct experiments to assess 3D ML systems across extensive datasets.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate cutting-edge research into the Aria platform.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in 3D computer vision and machine learning to enhance platform performance.
  • Document and share research outcomes via various mediums.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related tech field, with Python and/or C++ skills.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Proven experience with 3D computer vision and ML model training.
  • Effective management and processing of large-scale datasets.
  • Pursuing or completed a PhD in a relevant area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D and projective geometry and advanced computer vision.
  • Published research in prominent journals or conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability in research and software engineering.
