What You'll Do

As a vital part of our Amazon AWS AI team, you will collaborate with world-renowned experts across the globe. Your contributions will involve crafting innovative algorithms and models to enhance human language technologies. This pivotal role allows you to impact millions directly, influencing Amazon’s diverse products and services through cutting-edge language technology solutions.

You will also acquire practical experience with Amazon's vast arrays of text and structured data, along with extensive large-scale computing resources, pushing forward the boundaries of language understanding.

Who We’re Looking For

We are actively recruiting in all areas related to human language technology and code generation. Candidates are welcome to apply to work in various locations, including our Berlin office.

Basic Qualifications:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience in developing models tailored for business applications.
• Proven track record of patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or similar.
• Knowledgeable in areas like algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong background in professional software development.
