Job Description

Join Sopra Steria's Data Center of Excellence (DCoE) France, at the forefront of client Data/AI transformation. Firmly believing that Data is the engine of a sustainable and evolving industrial foundation built to meet business challenges, we offer value across all levels (business, IT, CxO) in collaboration with our consulting and delivery teams.

The DCoE consolidates technological and methodological expertise across the entire Data value chain: from transformation strategies and daily AI usage to Data Cloud and on-premise architectures.

Work Environment

As a Data Architect, you will join our Data Center of Excellence, engaging with a variety of clients across multiple sectors (Banking, Insurance, Public Sector, Telecom, Media, Gaming, Industry, and Services) throughout France. You will support delivery teams during the prospecting, pre-sales, and project implementation phases.

Your primary focus will be on Data architecture, incorporating concepts such as data governance, data cataloging, reference management, data quality, and AI industrialization. We partner with leading market vendors and Hyperscalers to bring you the best tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Developing optimized architectures within a Data context (setting up cold and real-time analytical platforms, IOT, etc.)
• Knowledge of technical components like Datalake, Datawarehouse, MDM, ETL, ESB, and API management tools
• Implementing data ingestions (real-time, asynchronous, intermediate tools)
• Executing data transformation and valorization (SQL, Python, Java, Scala)
• Understanding DevOps methodologies and tools within a Data context
• Participating in client workshops for design and consultation
• Defining/Pre-sales, understanding RFPs, constructing and presenting technical responses to technical/functional audiences
• Strong knowledge of on-premise and/or cloud infrastructure
• Leading development teams and participating in solution delivery post-hire

Qualifications

Holding a Bac+5 (engineering degree or university equivalent), you possess a minimum of three years of experience as a Data Architect, equipping you with solid competencies.

Your proficiency in broader Data topics (data quality, referentials, governance, business processes) will be a significant asset for adapting to various projects.

Comfortable with public speaking, you will excel in presenting and leading workshops and meetings on architectural solutions. Proficiency in English at the B2 level is required for interacting with our international clients.
