We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architecture Technical Writer specializing in AI/ML to join our dynamic Google Cloud Architecture Content team. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience creating content for technical audiences, such as developer documentation, Computer Science courses, or IT administration playbooks.
• 1+ year of experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence.
• Proficiency in web writing and using tools like Markdown, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Writing, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 7+ years of experience in technical writing across various technologies.
• Expertise in researching and documenting for architects, developers, and IT operations teams.
• Proven ability to develop clear, consistent, and accurate documentation.
• Demonstrated capability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
• Strong passion for learning and documenting emerging technologies.

About the Job:

As a Technical Writer, you will develop in-depth communications for both internal and external audiences and manage projects involving coordination with multiple junior writers. Your role will include writing conceptual overviews, procedures, a variety of example codes, as well as updating help center inquiries and FAQs.

Your Role:

At Google Cloud, you will:

• Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others and help non-writers enhance their writing skills.
• Collaborate with a global team of engineers, product teams, content strategists, and other technical writers.
• Work closely with Solutions Architects and Customer Engineers to develop cross-product architectural guidance.
• Write comprehensive technical architecture guidance, including design guides and reference architectures.
• Drive thought leadership to evolve Google Cloud's architecture guidance practices.

Compensation and Benefits:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$185,000, plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
