Job Summary: As a crucial leader within Arity, the Analytics Data Engineering and Infrastructure Director role involves steering a talented team of engineers towards the development of advanced data platforms and solutions that support predictive analytics and AI. This strategic position is designed to bolster the company's initiatives, ensuring the delivery of high-end, secure, and efficient data infrastructures aligned with Allstate's long-range business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and development of the Analytics Data Engineering and Infrastructure team to foster innovation and technical prowess.
• Design and execution of strategies to modernize the analytics data infrastructure, improving efficacy and operational performance.
• Enhancement of data security and adherence to comprehensive governance standards.
• Proactive identification and resolution of system bottlenecks and technical issues to boost data platform capabilities.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
• Influence and drive technological strategies and decisions that have a long-lasting impact on the company's direction.

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's Degree with a preference for a 4-year course.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience, particularly in data management, cloud architecture, or related fields.
• Experience equivalence in education and professional background will be considered.

Functional Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of public cloud architecture and strategic operations.
• Expertise in big data environment development using modern software methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as GoLang, Scala, Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ML operations.
• Capability to lead and collaborate effectively in a remote, diverse environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational acumen to manage and scale up technological frameworks.
