Job Overview: Application Architect - Specialist

Sub-department: Product Development

We are currently undergoing a digital transformation and are looking for talents who wish to teach, learn, and transform alongside our Technology team. We seek a professional passionate about the agile universe, with strong communication skills, dynamism, and the ability to drive continuous improvements within the team.

In the agile architecture model, the Application Architect will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and evolving the company's standard application portfolio in line with global policies and standards to best meet business needs. Additionally, the role involves System Design of solutions, working collaboratively with the entire development team from project inception to final customer delivery, guiding, teaching, correcting, and innovating solutions together with the team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design the application architecture;
• Understand the company's technical and strategic direction to generate and document application standards according to corporate architecture;
• Identify opportunities to create reusable components/APIs for the entire company and ensure reuse by the diverse development teams;
• Ensure secure and resilient implementations;
• Monitor solution architecture management KPIs and reuse;
• Perform POCs with new technologies or different use cases;
• Serve as the team's focal point for technical questions and decisive issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience with application architecture and solution design;
• Experience in containerized microservices solutions (Docker) and orchestrated (Kubernetes);
• Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate priorities;
• General knowledge of Backend technologies (Java or Python) and Frontend (Angular) for making architectural decisions;
• Experience with messaging and event-driven tools - RabbitMQ and Kafka;
• Knowledge of key application architecture models and patterns – DDD, BDD, Microservices, Microfrontends, Design Patterns, SOLID, Service Mesh, Enterprise Integration Patterns;
• Practical experience with cloud application solutions (AWS);
• Strong planning, organization, documentation, and negotiation skills (including timelines and requirements);
• Technical leadership experience – capable of guiding the team to find answers, providing final direction when necessary;
• Desirable knowledge in big data solutions – Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL, BI, Data Mesh, MLOps, etc.
